Other Sources Energy Group Ltd (OSEG) is an Israeli holding company that invests in innovative companies focusing on the latest cutting-edge trends in the energy world; decarbonization, decentralization, and digitalization of the electricity grid.
Our investment approach is based on our vast implementation experience as technology entrepreneurs and energy project developers. Along with our investment partner CLP holdings, we own assets in the entire value chain of the energy market. In particular, the group’s members are leaders in the art of microgrid project development while exhaustively using renewable energy state-of-the-art technologies.
As energy experts with first-hand experience of what works and what does not, we enjoy a close look at the market and understand its short and long-term trends. Our Energy Co-Investor
CLP-OSEG incorporated JV invests in Israeli cutting-edge energy-related technologies, grid management, distributed power, storage, cybersecurity for critical infrastructures.
CLP Group was founded in Hong Kong in 1901 and is one of the largest investor-owned power businesses in Asia-Pacific. In Hong Kong, CLP operates a vertically-integrated electricity supply business providing a highly-reliable supply of electricity to 80% of the city’s population. Outside Hong Kong, CLP invests in the energy sector in Mainland China, India, Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Australia. Its business includes power generation, transmission and distribution, and electricity and gas retail activities.
Market Access
IP Innovative Power GmbH offers our portfolio companies access to a global leader in microgrid deployment.
The Berlin-based energy project development company is primarily engaged with the development of decentralized energy projects in Europe. Through an exclusive agreement with Aroundtown (AT1:DE), the largest commercial real estate developer in Germany the company owns and operates electricity hybridized microgrid systems. Under the agreement with AT, IP GmbH will build, own and operate hundreds of energy microgrid systems in the coming years. These systems will incorporate energy sources (solar PV, wind turbine, turbine/engine CHP and CCHP), electricity storage capacity, and up to 25,000 electric vehicle charging stations, fully or partially integrated into the hybridized microgrids systems.
ClimaTech Incubator
NetZero’s mission is to invest in very early stage and high-risk Energy Tech and ClimaTech ventures. NetZero is a national energy and climate technology incubator.
NetZero Technology Ventures, a consortium led by OSEG which includes a group of multinationals in the energy arena, was chosen by the Israel Innovation Authority to manage Israel’s EnergyTech and ClimaTech Incubator.
The incubator encourages the conversion of innovative technology ideas in this field to mature start-up companies.
Together with its multinational partners NetZero will back and support its portfolio companies to scale internationally.
